All That Can Be Shaken Will Be Shaken[ physically and spiritually]

 

 

With the earthquake in Haiti, Chile, one in Argentina, Japan,and the several we have had in recent months, it leads me to believe that God is trying to tell us something. Luke:21-11 states the following. And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines and pestilences , and fearful sights, and great signs shall there be from heaven.This is one of the signs that Jesus gives himself before his long awaited return, here is a teaching that I think makes the rubber meet the road, it was in some of my notes which I have compiled from different sermons an teachings.

‘For thus says the Lord of hosts; Yet once more I will shake the heavens, the earth, the

sea and the dry land, and I will shake all nations’ (Haggai 2:6).

‘Yet once more I will shake the earth and also the heavens. Now this expression, “Yet

once more”, indicates the final transformation of all that can be shaken — that is, of that

which has been created in order that what cannot be shaken may remain. Let us therefore,

receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, offer to God pleasing service and acceptable

worship’ (Hebrews 12:25 to 28).

God is not only shaking things on earth — He is also shaking things in heaven. ‘All the

foundations of the earth are shaking’ (Psalm 82:5). ‘The powers of the heavens will be

shaken’ (Matthew 24:29 & 30). Every Christian needs to be prepared to be shaken, and

that is not easy. Why would God shake His people? To discipline us and purify us for the

Kingdom of God (Titus 2:14); to separate the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:32).

Remember, this Gospel is a Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:14); it is the

power unto salvation. The Kingdom of God is the only thing that can never be shaken, and

Christians who make Jesus their Rock and Fortress will not be greatly shaken either. ‘He

is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken’

(Psalm 62:2 & 6). God is at work in all the world, shaking everyone and everything

everywhere. There is no use asking God not to shake us, because it is in His will and

power to do it. ‘Our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases’ (Psalm 115:3). It is

His purpose to shake everything so that only the things that cannot be shaken will be left.

What can be shaken? Empires, nations, governments, monarchies, banks, businesses,

churches, families, individuals and anything else that is not eternal. The only way we can

cope with God’s shaking, is to commit ourselves into the mighty hand of God (1 Peter 5:6).

He is the only security mankind has (Psalm 91). We are told very firmly not to love the

world or the things in it (1 John 2:15 to 17). We cannot mix the love of God with the love of

the world. If our hearts are set on the world and the things the world can offer, the love of

the Father is not in us; that means we would love the world more than we love God. The

love of things in the world are not of the Father — that is they are not of God.

The three sins that lead to eternal destruction; the lust of flesh, the lust of the eyes and

pride of life — of which pride is the single biggest problem — are sins from the world, and

can keep us trapped and bound to the things we have in the world. This world along with

some of heaven, is eventually going to pass away and be burned up (2 Peter 3:10).

Nobody has a permanent home here on earth. If we try to make our home in this world,

then we will be greatly shaken, but he who does the will of God lives forever. Even when

we are shaken, if we are founded on the Rock (Jesus) and are doing the will of God, we

will not be swept away (Matthew 7:25 to 27). What is the ultimate will of God? The coming

of His Kingdom to earth as we read in the Lord’s prayer. ‘Your Kingdom come; Your will be

done on earth as it is in heaven’ (Matthew 6:10; Luke 11:2). That is His ultimate purpose

and that is why we need to proclaim the full Gospel in all the world before He comes. We

need to seek the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). God is busy

preparing us for His Kingdom to come to earth. That is why the Lord is shaking His people.

Many Christians are being shaken by severe circumstances to purify them and make them

ready for His coming. Being shaken by God can be most unpleasant, but if we yield to His

discipline, we will be purified and therefore ready to usher in His Kingdom when He

comes.

Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, read the following definitions of the word earthquake:

A commotion or a tempest to rock, vibrate, agitate in any direction, to cause to tremble, to throw onto a tremor of fear or concern.,

My friends, everything that can be shaken, is being shaken. A world whose economy is barely hanging on and then these natural disasters, Iran’s leader, a admitted hater of Jews and Christian’s states the he is now nuclear, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, will watch over Israel.

By the way the only bailout from Hell is Jesus Christ!

The oldest union formed by God, marriage between a man and a woman, is now being questioned and the country is considering changing what God has established, the founding fathers are turning over in their graves. People who speak Christian values are being called haters and people are trying to silence them.

Christian’s have let themselves be shook so much that have cowered into a corner, well brothers and sisters it is time to come out and to come out fighting, fighting for Judeo Christian values!

The church will soon be out of the way, either silenced by laws, or in the case of some be raptured out of here, though many will come to know Jesus during the Great Tribulation, but for some it will be to late.

Oprah Winfrey spreads her secularist garbage, and yes I say garbage teaching about the many ways to God., my friends the Bible says there is only one way, and that way is Jesus!

People want to take the blood out of the church, without the blood there would be no church, no salvation, or no hope, in other words, nothing!

Homosexuals may get what ever rights they desire, but for churches to ordain them and to give into the abomination that it is is wrong and I for one will fight it till the end.

Remember, when you cling to Jesus and the bible, you may be shook, you may tremble, worry and doubt, but because of the price paid at Calvary, all shaking will soon cease all trembling will stop, no worries no tears, no pain , no sorrows, for the former things have passed away.

Did God send these quakes, my answer is God only knows for all things done are for his pleasure and his glory.

I will stand on the belief that he ALLOWED them to happen and will continue to allow things to happen to wake people up to the signs of His Son’s return!

You are not guaranteed your next breath, so with the next one you take, call upon the name of Jesus the same as the thief on the cross , he never prayed, fasted, tithed or even lived right, but he did know the only way!

So as things start to shake, and they will hold steadfast to your faith and you will find peace.

Speaking of shaken, I read something that really shook me, Mohammad the founder of Islam whose followers that when he ascended to heaven he did so on a horse named BARAK, just wondering if the Muslims are going to ride this Barack all the way into America, just wondering!
